Fixture design transforms concepts into drawings that are used to build the fixture.  In general, fixture design involves the following:

Ø  Receive drawings from customer in electronic format.  (Ex: drawings of seats, seat belts and floor pan).  Drawings accepted in the following formats: IGES, Catia V4 or V5, AutoCAD DXF or DWG, Parasolid, Solidworks, Unigraphics, Pro/Engineer, ACIS SAT and FastSurf Surface.

Ø  Develop preliminary design concepts including X, Y, Z locations for mounting points, overall size, weight

Ø  Send design concepts to customer for approval

Ø  Upon approval, finalize drawings for fabrication
